WWF INJURY UPDATES

Lita recently had her back examined by a back specialist, and it was determined that her bulging disc in her back will not require surgery. This has come as good news for both Lita and the WWF as Lita should not miss too much action through the injury while she recovers, but it has been decided she will be used at WWF TV tapings to serve as a ring valet for the Hardy Boyz.

X Pacs projected return date now looks set to be prior to Januarys Royal Rumble pay-per-view event. X Pacs neck condition is now said to be turning the corner and his healing appears to be progressing well. X Pac will continue to follow his strict physical therapy and rehab sessions, as well as returning to his regular work out sessions in the gym to prepare himself for his return to action.

Dean Malenko has reported he is experiencing some knee troubles to the WWF. Malenko has not requested any time off and he is still scheduled to be at TV tapings in a wrestling capacity. Malenko has had a MRI scan of the offending knee to clear out the possibility of any lasting or severe damage, but at present the results of that MRI scan are yet to be revealed.

Just to clear up rumors, Rikishi was never off injured following the 6 Way Hell In A Cell at WWF Armageddon, he merely stayed off TV to sell the injuries he was alleged to have picked up at the event, and he was in need of a few weeks rest to help heal some other nagging injuries he was experiencing, which were totally unrelated to the Hell In A Cell match.

Eddie Guerreros hamstring injury is now in the process of healing. Guerrero was originally predicted for a return in early January of 2001, but those estimates appear to have been a bit premature as doctors are advising his return should not be before mid to late January.

Jeff Hardy has again reported to the WWF that he is still suffering from acute stomach pains from time to time. Hardy is not slated to miss any time and will not be kept out of his active wrestling duties, although the WWF are making arrangements for him to consult with a doctor from some sort of scan so that the nature of these pains can be identified and dealt with in a sufficient way.

Triple H is nearing his return to WWF TV. Triple H will not return in a wrestling capacity just yet due to his back injury, more specifically his ruptured disc, which still requires a few more weeks rest before its back to 100%. Triple H will return either next week of the following week at WWF TV to develop and further storylines and angles with other superstars via promos and interviews but preliminary estimates suggest that Triple H is on course for an in ring return at the Royal Rumble, but no sooner.

RUMORS

ROCK RUMORS RUNNING WILD!
Rumors on several wrestling and movie websites are saying that former WWF champion The Rock has landed a deal in the upcoming movie "X-Men 2", where he will play the role of the "Beast". The "Beast" is one of the new major mutants that will appear in the second installment of "X-Men". These rumors are not confirmed, and the studio, 20th Century Fox, didn't issue any press releases yet regarding the movie. Heck, they don't even know for sure who's going to direct the movie yet

Vampiro and Kanyon are due back to World Championship Wrestling during the next few weeks, but there is a chance that Sting might miss another three months with an injured elbow.

There have been strong rumors that Razor Ramon might return as a mystery entry into the Royal Rumble. Remember this is just a rumor the WWF or WWF.com has not said anything about this yet.

Larry Zbyszko and Bobby Heenan two of the former WCW announcers have been fired in an attempt to cut WCW's payroll.

"British Bulldog" Davey Boy Smith is once again in some legal trouble. He is set to appear Friday in a Calgary court to face charges of threatening his brother in law Bruce Hart (brother of Bret Hart).

The incident is alleged to have occurred Dec. 10. Which was days after the case Smith had against him for threatening to kill his ex-wife Diana. In exchange he was not to speak of the incident and stay off pain killers.

At that case, Smith mentioned that he was washing his hands of the Hart family. "I was involved in that family for 20 years and I'm sad to say it was the worst 20 years I ever had," said Smith to the Calgary Sun news publication.

Those comments got the Hart family upset, especially Bret who said, "If it wasn't for my family and the opportunities my father gave him, Davey would still be working in the Wiggins mines. He's talking about a disfunctional family at the same time as he has taken off with my brother Bruce's wife -- you're right in the thick of it, buddy."

Smith now is looking to either make a last return to the WWF or open up a wrestling school. Under terms of his earlier charges being dropped, Smith agreed to stay away from several members of the Hart family.
